The February featured artist will be Carolyn Tabarini, a quilting and crafts teacher, from Southport, North Carolina. After purchasing a sit-down longarm quilting machine, she taught herself free-motion quilting and thread painting. She loves to share her love of fiber arts and exploring art through fabric, thread, yarn, and other creative mediums. Carolyn says, “I learned to quilt by the rules so that I can now break those rules.”
All members, guests, and curious quilters are invited to attend guild meetings. The business meeting starts promptly at 10:00 am. For a special treat arrive 30 minutes early to shop the "rehome" table for quilting treasures!
The official social butterflies, i.e. Social Committee chairpersons, great all attendees as they arrive. All are invited to attend lunch after the meeting. Reservations for lunch, at a local restaurant, may be made at the meeting. Those attending are responsible for purchasing their own lunch.
