| The Western North Carolina Quilters Guild celebrates Worldwide Quilting Day! The Worldwide Quilting Day quilt show was held on March 15, 2025 at Blue Ridge Mall. The show was a great success! A very special thank you to the quilters who provided lovely creations and to guild members who volunteered to make the quilt show possible. Thank you to all who attended the challenge! Click here to learn more about the 2025 Worldwide Quilting Day quilt show. The Western North Carolina Quilters Guild revealed the 2024-2025 Opportunity Quilt in September 2024. The quilt, “Woodland Wildflowers”, is aptly named. The design has a beautiful pallet of wildflowers. Lindsay Shelton created the quilt and Laura Jones of Sew Bee It Quilts did the long arm quilting. This magnificent queen-size quilt was awarded to the lucky recipient on March 15! Donations to the guild for ongoing activities or to the guild's scholarship program are always welcome.
