Annie Smith is more than just a pretty face. She is a Quilter who has been sewing since she was 8 years old and quilting since 1980. 

Annie is multitalented…

  • She designs quilt patterns and has her own Pattern Publishing company. 

  • She won Best of Show at the California State Fair for Crazy Quilting. 

  • She is a maker who makes her own clothes (among other things). 

  • She is a national and international quilting instructor who presents in person at guild meetings, quilt shops, and quilt show venues as well as online. 

  • She has taught at the Smoky Mountain Quiltfest, International Quilt Market & Festival, John C. Campbell Folk Art School, American Quilters Society, Original Sew Quilt Expo and Road to California. 

Mark your calendar to attend the guild meeting March 20, 2025, when Annie Smith presents “Help! My fabric stash is growing, and I can’t make it stop!” 

The WNCQG guild meeting officially starts at 10:00 am. Members and guests are encouraged to arrive early to socialize and peruse the donations table.
