The Western North Carolina Quilters Guild is a 501(c)3 organization begun in 1982. The Guild proudly promotes the art of quilting. The membership, of all skill levels, encompasses all forms of quilting – traditional, modern and art.

The Guild has four sub-groups known as AREAS which are small groups that meet monthly for charity work, fellowship, and continuing education.

Events of the Guild include speakers, a biennial Quilt Show, a yearly scholarship, a World Wide Quilting Day challenge, and local retreats.

The Guild invites anyone interested in the art of quilting to visit and consider joining.  Learn more about membership.

Worldwide Quilting Day!

All are welcome to visit the Worldwide  Quilting Day quilt show on March 15, 2025 at Blue Ridge Mall. The show will be open from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The Western North Carolina Quilters Guild revealed the 2024-2025 Opportunity Quilt in September 2024. The quilt, “Woodland Wildflowers”, is aptly named. The design has a beautiful pallet of wildflowers. Lindsay Shelton created the quilt and Laura Jones of Sew Bee It Quilts did the long arm quilting.

This magnificent queen-size quilt could be yours. If you would like an opportunity to own this beauty, you may donate $1 for one ticket or $5 for six tickets. Tickets are available in many ways. Contact info@westernncquilters.org for more information.

All donations received will go to the WNCQG scholarship fund.  Donations to the scholarship fund are accepted in person at guild meetings or online.
